Director of Development

The Booker Prize Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission and vision by securing philanthropic, corporate, and wider support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to drive growth in income
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships
  • Deliver exceptional donor stewardship and recognition
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive and Board to drive fundraising income and growth
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and development
  • Strong relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Passion for the mission and values of the Booker Prize Foundation
