Contract Advisor Role

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking an experienced Contract Advisor to join our client, a leading Global Leader in Engineering and Construction business for the Offshore Energy Sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying Contract Management activities for a new offshore pipeline project, encompassing the review and qualification of different types of contracts, including Engineering, Construction, Transportation and Installation Contracts, and associated Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure and Restrictive Use Agreement; Memorandum of Understanding; Heads of Agreement and Nominated Subcontractors Agreements and Joint Venture Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workload in coordination with Tendering and Commercial functions, collecting inputs from other functions, especially Insurance, Tax and Finance.
  • Prepare Contract Summaries and draft Conformity Reports on a project-specific basis.
  • Negotiate contractual instruments with counterparties in the best interests of the Company.
  • Draft legal instruments and correspondence.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Assist all Company functions with legal and contractual matters in coordination with relevant corporate functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Contract Management.
  • Experience working for an offshore installation contractor is preferred.
  • Offshore operations experience is essential.
  • Must have the existing right to work in the UK.
