Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Supervisor

Job Summary:

Aeropeople Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing Supervisor to lead a small team of NDT Inspectors in providing an efficient and effective service to the department's internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of NDT Inspectors to ensure high-quality services are delivered to internal and external customers.
  • Monitor quality, cost, and overall performance of NDT tasks, taking appropriate action to address any non-performance.
  • Ensure all NDT related tasks are carried out safely and to the required Health & Safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain NDT staff approvals, ensuring they are current and up-to-date.
  • Liaise with NDT Level 3 responsible person to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in an aircraft maintenance or similar environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and UT Phased Array.
  • Multiple Non-Destructive Testing approvals.
  • Familiarity of Boeing 737, BAe 146, and Embraer aircraft NDT techniques.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.

Aeropeople Ltd is a leading Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) with 6 fully equipped heavy maintenance bays across 3 hangars. We specialise in providing base maintenance MRO services, CNC Milling, structural and composite repairs, trim/paint, and component repairs from our fully furnished workshop facility. We also have a Part 147 Technical Training College which delivers a range of training solutions.
