About the Role

We are seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to lead a team of inspectors in providing efficient and effective non-destructive testing services to our clients in the aerospace industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of NDT inspectors and trainees, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality results.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute NDT tasks, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and improve quality, cost, and performance of NDT tasks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure all NDT-related tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Liaise with NDT Level 3 responsible persons and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Completed a recognized aeronautical apprenticeship (civil or military)
  • Demonstrable experience in an aircraft maintenance or similar environment
  • Knowledge and experience of Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and UT Phased Array
  • Multiple Non-Destructive Testing approvals
  • Familiarity with Boeing 737, BAe 146, and Embraer aircraft NDT techniques
  • Understanding of EASA/CAA, Health Safety & Environmental legislation, and Employment Legislation
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience in a relevant environment
  • Approachable and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Ability to maintain key areas of focus in a busy and complex environment
  • Effective communicator
  • Open, honest, and trustworthy
