We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a support staff member for children with additional needs. This role is perfect for psychology graduates or students looking to gain experience in education or working with children with diverse needs.

As a support staff member, you will work with children who have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and physical disabilities. You will provide support in the classroom and 1:1 with children, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

We work with schools in and around Bristol to provide support staff for children with additional needs. Our schools are welcoming and have varied curriculums, with dedicated staff who will support you in this role.

As a support staff member, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in working with children with additional needs. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including Team Teach.

Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
