About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Springwell Academy Leeds. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead small groups and individuals with Maths, English, reading, SEAL, and practical activities
  • Deploy effective strategies for supporting pupils with a range of behavioural conditions (ASD/ADHD/SEMH/ODD)
  • Support the teacher in the production of classroom and specialist resources
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
