Job Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to support children with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom behavior, providing guidance and support to students as needed.
  • Activity Supervision: Plan and supervise activities in and outside the classroom, promoting social and emotional development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly record and track student progress, utilizing relevant systems to inform instruction.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning activities and support student engagement.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility: Eligible to work in the UK or a UK resident.
  • Criminal Clearance: Possess an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one.
  • DBS Check: Hold a child-enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Experience: Previous or relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Qualifications: Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Residency: Minimum of three months UK residency.
  • Visa Status: Not on a skilled worker visa, and Teaching Personnel does not provide visa sponsorship.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
