**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Support Professional to join our team at TimePlan Education. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) within a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups with SEN
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring students can engage in lessons and activities
  • Support students with personal care needs, where required
  • Work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans
  • Help students develop social, communication, and emotional skills
  • Monitor students' progress and report observations to the class teacher
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and well-being
  • Assist in implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and learning

Requirements:

  • Experience in childcare, care support work, or a similar field
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • An understanding of the needs of children with SEN
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
