Our client schools in Meldreth and surrounding areas are seeking experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching assistants to support students aged 5-19 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The SEN schools cater to students with diverse needs, and the ideal candidate will have a genuine want and desire to work with children in the education sector.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Learning Support Assistants and Teachers to prepare resources for individual learning objectives.
  • Provide one-to-one support under supervision for skills-based learning.
  • Adhere to Safeguarding policies and procedures for a safe learning environment.

The successful candidate will require flexibility and a proactive mindset to take initiative. A minimum GCSE qualification in English and Maths is necessary, along with relevant training and qualifications.
