Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for various volunteer roles across the organisation. You will create inclusive role descriptions, manage the recruitment process using tools like Teamtailor, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities
  • Sourcing Candidates: Proactively identify potential volunteers through various channels, including job boards, social media, and community outreach.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Evaluate candidates' applications and conduct interviews to assess their suitability for volunteer roles.
  • Creating Role Descriptions: Write inclusive and engaging volunteer role descriptions that accurately reflect the responsibilities and expectations of the positions.
  • Managing the Recruitment Process: Use tools like Teamtailor to track candidate progress, maintain records, and ensure timely follow-up with applicants.
  • Building a Volunteer Network: Establish and maintain relationships with community groups and networks to create a strong pipeline of potential volunteers.

Benefits

You will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
