North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Services seeks a Financial Operations Manager to join its Finance team.

The role requires managing all aspects of budget and budget management, including monitoring and analysing payroll costs to inform budget forecasts and financial decision making.

You will provide expert advice and support to Finance colleagues and budget holders in both Fire Service operational and support staff functions.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with previous experience of working within Management Accounts and providing analytical information.

AAT Level 4 or an equivalent professional qualification is required. The successful candidate will have the potential to continue studying to qualified accountant level.

Annual salary range: £40,000 - £55,000
