About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Leader to join our team at The Resource Centre Derry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our Early Years services, including crèche and/or the Developmental Programme for 2 -3 Year Old (if required).


Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Deliver and manage Early Years services in a variety of settings, ensuring a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.
  2. Provide care that meets the individual needs of children and ensures their overall safety and well-being.
  3. Plan and manage the implementation of a daily routine that addresses the individual needs of children, using a variety of play and learning opportunities.
  4. Manage a staff team and promote a positive team spirit, encouraging staff members to work together effectively.

Requirements
  • Experience working in Early Years settings
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
