Job Summary

This is a rewarding opportunity to support the delivery of Wellbeing and Harm Reduction interventions in Burnley, Lancashire. As a Healthcare Support Volunteer with Change Grow Live, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.

The ideal candidate will be kind, open-minded, and passionate about supporting people. You do not need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved. Our organization provides training and support to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Healthcare Team in their delivery of Wellbeing and Harm Reduction interventions
  • Contribute to a variety of tasks, including assessment, basic observations, home visits/outreach, and supporting with Alcohol detoxes
  • Be fully trained to handle responsibilities with confidence and professionalism

Requirements:

  • A kind and empathetic approach towards individuals struggling with addiction
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
