About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Liaison Psychiatry service in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist mental health assessments and interventions to individuals in the general hospital setting.

With a strong background in mental health care, you will have a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health issues and be able to develop and implement effective recovery plans. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist mental health assessments and develop individual recovery plans
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to provide effective interventions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including hospital staff and community services
Requirements
  • Extensive post-registration experience in mental health care
  • Experience of leading on completion of biopsychosocial assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
