About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Exeter Outer Core Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and provide clinical supervision to team members.
  • Assess and develop plans to manage risk, working collaboratively with other professionals and service users.
  • Provide training and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Contribute to service development, ensuring that our services are safe, effective, and focused on recovery.
Requirements
  • A professional mental health qualification, such as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism.
  • Training to level 3 in Safeguarding children and young people: roles and competencies for Health Care staff.
  • Substantial experience of managing a complex caseload and providing clinical supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues.
