Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to adult social care enquiries in a timely and professional manner, using a strength-based approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide information and signposted advice to customers about community services and voluntary sector partners, promoting independence and self-help.
- Liaise with other sections as needed, adhering to procedures and instructions.
- Complete delegated work tasks thoroughly and timely, using initiative and seeking guidance as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of adult social care services, including equipment and community-based support services.
- Understanding of data protection legislation and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Knowledge of welfare rights issues and ability to verbally resolve customer enquiries in a straightforward manner.
- Experience of working with adult social care services, using Microsoft Office products, and an online computer system.
- Ability to work to targets and timescales, using initiative and learning new services incorporated in Customer Services.
