Location: Tower Hamlets
Job Type: Full time/Contract
Pay Rate: £27 Umbrella P/H
The role involves providing a comprehensive and high-quality service to households who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. This includes assessing customers' needs and providing advice and support to prevent homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the duties owed to customers under the homelessness legislation.
- Provide advice and support to customers to help them access alternative housing options.
- Develop specialist knowledge and skills to deliver a flexible and responsive housing needs service.
- Compose and issue detailed and legally robust S184 decision letters.
About the Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Homelessness legislation and case law. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience of preventing homelessness and making statutory decisions.
