Accounts Assistant Role
Select Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to support our growing team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent financial services and contributing to the success of our ambitious organisation.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing and posting bank transactions, as well as managing cash flow effectively.
- Reconciling balance sheets and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Managing fixed assets and maintaining asset registers, which are crucial for the smooth operation of our business.
- Supporting the month-end preparation of management accounts across the group, which requires close collaboration with the finance team and business leads.
- Providing cover for the sales and purchase ledger teams, which is essential for meeting our business objectives.
- Producing ad-hoc reports to inform financial analysis and decision-making, which helps us make informed business decisions.
Requirements
- AAT Level 4 qualification (or studying towards), which demonstrates your commitment to professional development.
- Previous experience in a similar finance role, which shows that you have the necessary skills and expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, which enable you to work effectively with our team members and stakeholders.
Working Arrangements
- Full-time or part-time options available, which allows you to balance your work and personal life.
- Permanent position with flexible working hours, which gives you the autonomy to manage your time effectively.

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
