We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Stewardship Analyst to join our team in London. As a key member of our ESG integration team, you will play a critical role in shaping our stewardship agenda, engagement plan, and proxy vote guidelines. You will work closely with our EMEA Head of Stewardship to develop and implement strategies that promote positive economic and societal change, while also driving financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse shareholder meeting agendas and related materials to ensure votes are submitted timely and accurately in accordance with NTAM's proxy voting guidelines.
- Engage with boards and senior executives of investee companies on ESG and proxy voting related issues.
- Monitor progress towards engagement milestones and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance a deeper integration of our stewardship program into our investment decision-making process.
- Contribute to the refinement of NTAM's proxy voting policy and annual review of engagement and proxy voting policies.
- Research and write position papers on strategic engagement themes and topics.
- Support client requests and develop presentation decks and other support materials.
- Keep up-to-date with global regulatory developments and engage with relevant industry bodies.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of sustainability and ESG issues and their relation to investment.
- Ability to translate complex topics into business and financially relevant issues.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and inspire stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple informational sources.
