Rehabilitation Therapist for Neurological Conditions

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions. As part of our Early Supported Stroke Discharge (ESSD) service, you will work closely with patients and their families to provide individualized rehabilitation care in the community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to develop their skills in neurological rehabilitation and contribute to the growth and development of our team. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with stroke and other neurological conditions, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with stroke and other neurological conditions in the community setting
  • Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to promote independence and mobility
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience in physical rehabilitation, with a focus on neurological care
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
