Pastry Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Lanesborough, a renowned luxury hotel in London. As a key member of our pastry kitchen, you will be responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classic patisserie and baking, with a proven track record of running a service or section. You will be creative and willing to experiment with flavors and textures, while promoting teamwork amongst all departments of the kitchen and hotel. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for training and inspiring colleagues to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant
  • Drive and passion for baking, chocolate, and/or patisserie
  • Proven track record of running a service or section
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent command of the English language
