Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a Nurse (Older Adults), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our elderly residents, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working with older adults, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
