Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to manage the construction of electrical substations in Scotland. This role involves leading on-site activities and ensuring that all site-related activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Project Manager on major construction sites and take responsibility for all site-related activities associated with the construction of electrical substations.
  • Lead on-site activities from pre-mobilisation through to commissioning and eventual demobilisation.
  • Assist in project validation, method statement and risk assessment preparation, and review of construction drawings.
  • Ensure that all on-site personnel hold the relevant competencies for the tasks they will be carrying out.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Electrical apprenticeship / trade certificate coupled with a minimum of 5 years Site Management experience.
  • Experience in managing Electrical design and build projects in excess of €5 million.
  • Possess strong computer abilities.
  • Deep understanding of constructability of projects.
  • Strong Commercial awareness.
  • Capable of building strategic relationships with third-party design groups.
