Manufacturing Process Manager Role

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in manufacturing and assembling specialist projects.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing manufacturing, installation, and assembly processes, as well as a proven track record in managing a team during periods of strategic change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Electrical Installation and Test Engineers, ensuring high-quality standards and safe working practices.
- Support supervisors in coordinating workloads and addressing performance issues.
- Oversee production to ensure on-time delivery in line with the master plan.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Estimated salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
- Extensive experience in managing manufacturing, installation, and assembly processes.
- Proven track record in managing a team, particularly during periods of strategic change.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection, and testing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and health & safety standards in a workshop environment.
- City & Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- City & Guilds certification in Electrical Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and MRP systems.
