About the Role

Cranbrook is a large 4-form entry mainstream school with a 39-place Nursery serving a diverse local community.

We have two additional resource provisions – one for social and communication needs and the other for behaviour support.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with complex needs and autism in a mainstream school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Assist with the delivery of educational programs and activities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with experience of working with children with complex needs and autism.

You will be passionate about children's educational and social development and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A relevant qualification or experience in a similar role is essential.
