About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN team at the London Borough of Redbridge Academy. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our SEN pupils and contribute to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support to SEN pupils, focusing on English specialism
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as needed
  • Support pupils with their daily routines, including breaks and meals
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • English specialism and experience working with SEN pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils
