Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly effective Learning Support Assistant with experience of supporting pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder to join our successful multi-academy trust.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with ASD to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with ASD in a classroom setting
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Provide positive behavioral support and interventions
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with pupils with ASD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

The post is Term Time Only (45.6 contractual weeks) for 31.25 hours per week. The salary is £27,438 PA: £20,830.22 pro rata. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS record check.
