Audit and Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Audit and Reporting Accountant to join our Financial Control team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality statutory accounting and audit services for our client and its associated companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver statutory financial statements for our client and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and statutory regulations.
  • Assist in the timely submission of statutory accounts in line with audit schedules.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and acting as a key contact.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Support financial analysis and internal reporting for senior management, aiding strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations, identifying and addressing any control weaknesses.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, audit processes, and accounting standards (FRS 102, Housing SORP, IFRS).
  • Excellent investigative accounting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Experience and understanding of audit processes and practice.
  • Proficiency in producing regulatory returns and assisting with tax compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
