We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to join our team at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our finance function, overseeing financial operations, managing budgeting processes, and driving financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of our financial and commercial strategy
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Drive innovation and operational efficiency through systems improvement
- Collaborate with other teams and leadership to ensure financial processes align with our strategic objectives
We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive finance professional with a strong track record in managing finance teams and driving financial innovation. You will have a leadership and analytical mindset, with a commitment to our values and mission.
Requirements- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Wide-range leadership-level finance experience in the public, private, or charity sector
- Demonstrated success in system and process improvement and working with non-financial leadership teams
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams and communicate complex financial information clearly
