Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer

Community Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs to prevent, detect, and correct non-compliance issues.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on changing laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, AHCA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance on compliance-related matters, including coding and reimbursement systems, and federal and state laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate compliance, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Background in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and fraud and abuse laws is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with compliance software and systems.
  • Certifications in compliance, such as CCEP or CCE.
