Position Summary
The Samsung Research UK team is seeking a highly skilled Graphics Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge graphics and rendering algorithms for various frameworks, including AR and MR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and implementing innovative solutions to enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop state-of-the-art graphics and rendering algorithms for desktop and mobile devices.
- Propose and implement new technologies to overcome technical challenges and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with the team to create new solutions for outstanding products and services.
Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Expertise in Computer Graphics using APIs such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or DirectX.
- Strong 3D math and linear algebra skills.
- Knowledge of advanced rendering techniques, including Global Illumination, Physically Based Rendering, and Soft Shadows.
- Experience with software development, primarily using C++ and Python.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Contract Details
This is a 6-month contract, and we operate a hybrid working model of 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home weekly.
