About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housing IT Specialist to join our UK-based team at NEC Software Solutions. As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing NEC Housing systems for the not-for-profit social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Implementation: Offer expert guidance in implementing NEC Housing systems, with a focus on how the system is configured and built.
  2. Customer Support: Provide excellent advice to current customers using NEC Housing.
  3. Training and Development: Ensure that when we give advice or training, our customers are happy and give positive feedback consistently.
  4. Content Creation: Create and maintain training courses and solution design manuals for both customers and internal teams.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in all aspects of Social Housing Management.
  6. Travel and Collaboration: Be flexible and available for travel throughout the UK to visit both customer and company sites when required.
Requirements
  1. Expertise in Repairs and/or Assets: In-depth expertise in Repairs and/or Assets using NEC Housing.
  2. System Configuration and Build: Demonstrated expertise in implementing Housing systems, with a strong focus on system configuration and build.
  3. Consultancy Experience: Proven track record of providing high-quality consultancy services to customers (including Local Authority Housing, ALMOs or Housing Associations).
  4. Customer Feedback: Ability to consistently achieve positive customer feedback through effective delivery of consultancy and training services.
  5. Content Creation: Proficiency in creating and maintaining training materials, including courses and solution design manuals for customers.
  6. Project Management: Proficiency in handling multiple parallel projects.
Desirable Skills
  1. NEC Housing System Modules: Experience in creating, configuring, and implementing wider NEC Housing system modules.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Unix and/or SQL.
