Porter Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and courteous Porter to join our team at PMR. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the residential block in W4, London is kept in a high standard day to day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming residents and guests to the property
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the reception area and common parts
  • Conducting inspections of the common areas and ensuring the property is kept clean and tidy
  • Performing administration and office tasks while manning the main reception desk
  • Ensuring the security of the building is not compromised
  • Carrying out porter duties, including luggage and package delivery, running errands, and cleaning tasks
  • Receiving and distributing mail, logging registered mail and deliveries
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents, guests, and the public
  • Monitoring the presence of workmen and supervising their activities to minimize disturbance to residents
  • Reporting and monitoring Health & Safety issues and ensuring a safe working practice
  • Carrying out communal lighting inspections and replacing or reporting defective bulbs
  • Collecting and disposing of refuse sacks in a secure and timely manner

Working Hours:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 8pm

Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 8pm, Saturdays 9am to 1pm and Sundays 10am to 2pm

Salary: £30,000 per annum
