About the Role

We're seeking a talented Category Buyer to join our team at Screwfix. As a Category Buyer, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of your category through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in financial budgeting and forecasting activities to inform category growth strategies.
  • Directly influence category growth through strategic planning and execution, working closely with the Kingfisher Group and local suppliers.
  • Contribute to product range development and innovation, ensuring product offerings meet local market demands and customer needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding commercial concepts and customer focus.
  • Manage strategic sales, understand seasonality, and analyze financial reports to inform category growth decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
