About the Role

We're seeking a talented Buyer to join our team at Screwfix, where you'll play a key role in driving the growth of our home improvement category.

As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for participating in financial budgeting and forecasting activities, directly influencing the growth of your category through strategic planning and execution, and contributing to product range development and innovation in collaboration with the Kingfisher Group and local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure product offerings meet local market demands and customer needs, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in retail trading, buying, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial concepts and customer focus.
  • Ability to manage strategic sales, understand seasonality, and analyze financial reports.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
