Working closely with our Category Manager and cross-functional teams, you will ensure your category thrives by leveraging market and customer insights. You will be responsible for delivering sales and profitability targets, developing a 2-year category strategy, and proposing and executing a 12-month trading plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales and profitability targets for your category
  • Develop a 2-year category strategy with market and customer insights
  • Propose and execute a 12-month trading plan, negotiating promotional support with suppliers
  • Identify shortfalls and propose remedial actions to achieve KPIs
  • Maintain competitive awareness and use market insights to inform trading plans
  • Manage range changes and execute exit strategies where necessary
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to secure business support and engagement
  • Participate in financial budgeting and forecasting activities
