Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Range, Space and Formats team, where you'll play a key role in understanding our range performance with customer-facing category and format teams through KPIs, reports, and data. You'll be responsible for analysing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve range performance.

The Role

As a Senior Commercial Insights Analyst, you'll work closely with our range and category teams to understand performance of SKUs and suggest optimisation strategies for sales. You'll also maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve range performance.
  • Collaborate with the range and category teams to understand performance of SKUs and suggest optimisation strategies for sales.
  • Maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs.
  • Support the range team in conducting deep-dive analysis to understand drivers of sales performance and identify areas for optimisation by store format, fulfilment channel, and category.
  • Prepare and present data/insights to the Format and Space Planning Manager, as well as the Senior Range Manager, to guide strategic decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage, manipulate, and analyse complex data. You should have a level of commercial awareness and a good understanding of business needs. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll need to create clear and compelling feedback. A proactive approach, willingness, and ability to identify new insights, tools, and process efficiencies are also important.
