Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Analyze and track the performance of marketing campaigns to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights through engaging reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, analyze, and interpret customer data from various sources to identify key trends, behaviors, and insights.
  • Create visually compelling reports and PowerBI dashboards that communicate customer insights to stakeholders, helping them make data-driven decisions.
  • Undertake statistical analysis, including the use of control groups and hypothesis testing.
  • Manage a portfolio of analytics work, prioritizing as required to deliver effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer insights with business objectives and drive customer-centric strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business, including CRM, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest analytical tools and methodologies to enhance the quality of insights.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer data/analytics, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis and use of Excel.
  • Experience in data visualization and storytelling – able to communicate in a straightforward and visually engaging manner, creating a compelling narrative.
  • Experience of analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R.
  • Experience of data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in writing.
  • Excellent attention to detail, focused on accuracy and integrity of work.
