About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Screening Practitioner to join our team at the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Bowel Screening Programme. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality bowel screening services to individuals aged 54-75 with an abnormal test result from a home screening kit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of the bowel screening service, caring for participants with an abnormal FIT test result and within the BCSP surveillance programmes.
  • Work closely with Screening Service Providers (SSPs) to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with participants, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues as needed.
