Screening Practitioner

The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Screening Practitioner to join our team in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality screening services to individuals aged 54 to 75 with abnormal test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day running of the screening service, caring for participants with abnormal FIT test results, and contributing to the Bowel Cancer Surveillance Programmes.
- Work closely with Specialist Screening Practitioners to develop and implement effective screening strategies.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and exceptional patient experience.
- Develop professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements- Registered General Nurse with a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proven experience in endoscopy or a related field, with a strong understanding of bowel cancer screening and surveillance.
- Ability to think creatively and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
