About the Role
As a Carrier Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global supply chain. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from operational teams to retail teams, to optimize our supply chains and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives with carriers to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, including contract management and compliance
- Support the planning and organization of complex projects, including line haul carrier allocation and route optimization
- Develop relationships with line haul providers to facilitate communication and visibility across Amazon's line haul network
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or logistics
- Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools and systems
