Senior Document Control Specialist

Wood is seeking a highly experienced Document Control Specialist to contribute to a significant project in Aberdeen.

This role demands a comprehensive understanding of document control processes and procedures, with a focus on modifications within the engineering and operations domain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing complex documentation workflows for Brownfields projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level document control support throughout all project phases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine document control systems and procedures, optimizing efficiency and compliance.
  • Leverage advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of concurrent engineering principles and their application within the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure adherence to established document control standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of success as a Senior or Lead Document Controller, with demonstrable experience in the engineering and/or operations sectors.
  • Familiarity with Documentum software is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brownfields projects and associated documentation requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
