Acute Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit (ARTU) as a Band 5 Nurse.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on acute rehabilitation and trauma needs. Our unit is a pioneering new development within the Major Trauma centre, providing specialized rehabilitation for patients with severe head trauma, complex spinal injuries, polytrauma, and other acquired brain injury.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a committed team player with high standards, and be passionate about improving patient experience.

Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, focusing on acute rehabilitation and trauma needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Registered Nurse on the NMC Register
- Good communication skills and experience working within acute hospital settings
- Desirable: Recognized qualification in teaching and assessing, experience in neurosurgical and/or trauma & orthopaedic specialities
