StokeonTrent, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust Full time
About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our Acute Stroke Therapy Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to develop their specialized rehabilitation skills within a dynamic and supportive team.

The Acute Stroke Therapy Service provides specialist stroke rehabilitation on the hyper-acute and acute stroke unit, as well as an enhanced early supported discharge service. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide early rehabilitation for patients, setting goals and treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include promoting a seamless transition from the acute hospital to the home environment, while continuing to work towards patients' rehabilitation goals in their own home or normal place of residence. You must demonstrate an empathetic approach and be responsive to patients' needs, be flexible in your approach to work, and adaptable in carrying out your tasks, managing your own workload, and working unsupervised.

This is a great opportunity for a Physiotherapist to develop their skills and experience within a respected and innovative healthcare organization.
