Aspire People is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join their team as SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistants within schools in the Loughborough area.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's individual requirements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-on-one and group support for students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  2. Help manage behaviour effectively and support students in building their confidence and independence.
  3. Work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable.
  2. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs.
  3. Relevant qualifications in child development, special education, or related fields (preferred but not essential).
Benefits:
  1. A competitive salary based on experience of around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
  2. A long-term contract with the option of extending or 'as and when'.
  3. The opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence.
  4. A willingness to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service.
