Job Summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join its Oxford Muscle Service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurological physiotherapy and a passion for working with patients with neuromuscular conditions.

Main Duties

The physiotherapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with neuromuscular conditions. This will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing specialist physiotherapy interventions.

About the Role

The Oxford Muscle Service is a regional specialist service that provides care to patients with neuromuscular conditions across five surrounding counties. The service has recently undergone significant investment, including the creation of the MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre, which aims to lead innovation in new treatments through clinical trials.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in physiotherapy, postgraduate experience, and a strong background in neurological physiotherapy. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
