Women's Health Clinical Support Role

The Harley Street Clinic is recruiting a skilled and empathetic Healthcare Assistant to join their Outpatients team at the new Women's Services Centre, part of The Harley Street Clinic Campus.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with the breast care team to provide exceptional care and support to patients attending breast clinics. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist in the organisation of clinics, chaperoning, and supporting medical staff in outpatient procedures.

About the Role:
  • Assist in the smooth operation of clinics, breast screening, and results clinics.
  • Collaborate with the breast care team to ensure efficient patient flow and effective communication.
  • Manage clinics to run efficiently, ensuring accurate notes and paperwork are completed.
  • Provide emotional support to patients receiving bad news or undergoing cancer treatment.
  • Show flexibility with working hours to meet the needs of the department.
  • Support clinicians with breast biopsies, dressing changes, examinations, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
