We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Deputy Director of Boarding to support the Director of Boarding and the boarding team in providing a positive, caring, and respectful environment for our boarders.

The successful candidate will foster the growth and development of our boarders, creating a thriving boarding community. They will demonstrate effective leadership, organizational, and administrative skills, and have the ability to deputize for the Director of Boarding as required.

This is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The successful candidate will be required to live onsite at Acland House.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, and have good emotional intelligence and a sound understanding of pastoral care.

As part of the leadership team, the Deputy Director of Boarding will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Director of Boarding in providing a positive and respectful environment for boarders
  • Fostering the growth and development of boarders
  • Deputizing for the Director of Boarding as required
  • Providing effective leadership, organizational, and administrative support to the boarding team
