A well-established business in the Chippenham area is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in preparing VAT returns and financial reports, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing VAT returns and financial reports
  • Managing financial systems and maintaining accuracy
  • Assisting the Managing Director with financial and administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, or Finance Administrator
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Drive
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, company pension, private medical insurance, and a flexible working schedule.

This is a full-time position, but we may consider reduced or part-time hours for the right candidate.
