Financial Records Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Records Assistant to join our team at A&B Recruitment. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in producing and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Update nominal ledger accounts regularly to reflect current financial status.
- Collaborate with the Management Accountant to produce and maintain financial statements.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Raise payments on our banking software for approval, ensuring timely processing.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Finance department to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification by experience.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant is essential.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including vlookups & pivot tables).
